The State Polo ships today on a soft-touch performance piqué — a fine blank, honestly chosen. The Reserve is what comes next: a custom-milled polo built around the one thing an off-the-shelf blank cannot give you — a structured, self-fabric collar that stands the way a proper collar should.

What Sets It Apart
The collar is the difference.
- A structured self-fabric collar
- Cut from the same cloth as the body, fused with an internal interfacing and set with two hidden collar stays — the construction you find on a Peter Millar or a Stitch. It holds its roll open at the neck and lies flat under a quarter-zip instead of curling at the points the way a soft, off-the-shelf collar does.
- A heavier, custom-milled piqué
- A denser knit with more body and a cleaner drape than a stock performance blank — milled to our specification rather than pulled from a catalog, so the cloth and the collar are made for each other.
- Made to order, in a limited run
- A custom garment is a commitment of cloth and time, so we build The Reserve in a single limited batch — produced once the first State Editions sell through. The crest is stitched the way it always has been; only the piece beneath it changes.
